When the tornado sirens started going off at 2:00am in McHenry I was quick to get out of bed and shove a pillow and blanket in our tiny bathroom, the inner most room in the house with no windows. I went back for my bunny, Francis, who was in the middle of looking quite comfortable in his corner and gave me the evil eye as I removed him from his cage and placed him in the bathroom as well. Mom and I laid down while Francis explored, hopped, and climbed to his heart’s content. Unfortunately that meant he was exploring, hopping, and climbing on me and my mom’s legs, stomachs, chests, and, of course, heads. The sirens continued for about half an hour with barely any wind and a heavy downpour of rain. Our bathroom party culminated in Francis scratching and pushing at my blanket until he peed on my arm. Thanks Francis, I smell like bunny piss now and I’m too wired to go back to sleep due to the tornado sirens.
I’ve recently joined the Whovian fandom. I absolutely loved David Tennant’s 10th doctor and couldn’t imagine him leaving and watching a new doctor take over, but now that I’m almost finished with Matt Smith’s first season (Season 5) I have come to terms and really love the 11th doctor. I love the stories and although at quite a few episodes I have found myself bawling like a baby, it’s completely worth it.
Everyone has probably seen the “What guys want” lists that show up month after month, year after year, in women’s magazines- from those aimed at preteens to more adult issues of Cosmo, magazines love to remind us that our bodies are a constant performance and we should always want to know what men…
This is fantastic! Women should be empowered, not feel scrutinized by men or society.
They’re the new fame.
Starkid <3 I love them!
This is a fantastic quote
